The solar road stud is installed by drilling a 30mm deep hole in the road surface with a 4 inch drill bit. (Use a drill plug to ensure the correct depth of the hole). Use a special socket tool to remove excess asphalt gravel from the hole. For concrete pavement, use a jackhammer to pulverize the excess concrete in the hole for easy removal. Use a high pressure blower to blow away unwanted debris and water. If necessary, use a sponge to remove excess water. Apply an appropriate amount of epoxy glue to the hole. Orient the solar spikes and place them in the holes. Lightly tap the top of the glass with a plastic hammer to hold it in place. Spread some epoxy glue around the edges of the solar spikes to keep the solar spikes in their holes.
